Pro Oval Studio Cable

Straight forward talk, a lot of guitarist and musicians do not pay enough attention on the cable for their system. We could at least throw a question onto ourselves, "How good is our cable for our system?"

This condition can be understood, why musicians do not pay enough attention the role of the cable. Reason is, because there was no guideline to follow on choosing the best cable when we play music. We were just told about choosing the best and convenient musical instrument that is affordable. As for the cabling, most of the time we have to look for it on our own, just when we reach the level where sound has become an important part of our performance. The lack of information on cabling is a problem we have to face when choosing one. All we know about cable is only from the advertisement in foreign music magazines that has been designed nicely. In fact advertisement has already done enough in introducing products from specific producers, but this is still not useful enough for us. Why??? Because those products could not be purchased from the local market.

Fortunately, now we can have one of the world's best cable in Indonesia that of course come with a dear price. In a glance, cable is just cable. There is no difference among them.

Made from copper wire, covered with synthetic dielectric and some of them use nice packed connector with gold plated in the end of the connector. What about the price? Need less to say that it is quite explosive for us, who have been using borrowed cable or buying lower quality cable, our ears also can not differentiate the sound yet.

In this case, we are doing a review with Pro Oval Cable, made by Analysis Plus from USA.

The Advantage of Oval Conductor
After doing several rigorous tests using computer simulation on measurement, conductivity, induction, capacity, and frequency phase. Analysis Plus team has found an innovative solution of oval conductor cable. This cable can eliminate the indecent sound of guitar.

Main advantage of this oval conductor is signal transmit better and more efficient, so it minimizes the bunching effect. As we know that the inclination of audio signal to group at the cable surface that is why we created a hollow conductor to reach a stage of an efficient audio signal transmission that is stable and homogeneous. This eliminates differentiate of frequency phase problem.

Strong Figure
With naked eyes, we could already tell that this Pro Oval Cable is different from other cables. The synthetic material that covers the cable looks thicker compared to any other good branded cable, Seems like there are two protective layers of synthetic covers. First layer, that is the most outside is transparent and inside usually contains colorful patterns. This is just the start in showing that this cable is made from a different and better technology compared to others.

Gold Plated
Connector used by this cable is very much different with other cables, even compared to Neutrik connector. The gold plated connector used gives the cable an elegant look.

As for the flexibility, this cable is less flexible compared to others, because it is designed to be used in a high performance audio. During the Guitar take in the studio, we assume that the guitarist do not jumping and hoping all over, in short this cable is priority is in the sound quality, not the flexibility.

Check One…Two…
After the tests, we finally bring it to the Recording Studio, where this cable will be used and commercialized. The equipment that we used were several electric guitar like Kramar Striker, Hamer Sustainiac, BayCustom and other several guitars with a variative pick up, both active and passive.

The amplifier system we used were "rack System" with a pre-amp and a cylinder technology power amplifier with multi effect digital from TC electronic.

Sound
The main reason why we have to test the quality in recording studio is to check the sound quality that is produced by this cable. Since, in the studio, we could detect the sound's character clearly.

For the result, just make it short, two thumbs up for Analysis Plus pro Oval Cable. It sounds very revealed compare to our cable which is hazy and wrapy. Dynamic range also wider and it makes guitar sound is richer than before.

The guitar sound we played is full distortion, blues crunch, real clean and twangky.

All the sound is nicer than before. Much….. much…..better compared to any cable I've ever used.

This cable performance is close to perfect. The only two problems are the price and the flexibility.

Perfection for the performance does come with a price. But if you are looking for the sound perfection in your studio, this is the cable you have to be equipped with.
